H.N.C in Mechanical Enginering.
With a working life as a supervisor and trainer both in industry and as a volunteer Guide and Scout leader.
Studied Stained Glass at Yale one day release. Member of the International Guild of Knot Tyers, exploring rope making, all things knots and Macrame.
Member of the European Association of a Ship in Bottle. Runs a local history group, glass work and folk art painter.

General Art encompasses a wide range of skills and media, enabling her to deliver a diverse creative experiences to her art groups.
Painting and Drawing, Print Making, Batik, Felting, Three Dimensional activities. Besides developing practical skills, students have been encouraged to investigate some theoretical art.
Topics have included: Fauvism, Pop Art, Cubism, Interiors, Landscape, Still Life Botanical Illustration, Journals, Developing approaches to the sketchbook.
